LISBET TONNER

I am a creative director with more than 15 years of experience in the creative industry. I have held senior positions at Nokia and Microsoft, where I headed up an in-house design team, delivering brand and design projects across the business, from events and exhibitions, to books and digital solutions.

At Nokia, then at Microsoft, I successfully managed a team of designers with a broad range of skills from motion graphics, spatial design, typography, graphic design, to digital and interactive design. Within my role, I was responsible for delivering large scale, integrated design projects with a strong focus on events and design exhibitions, working closely with Product Marketing, Brand and Sales & Retail teams.

I managed relationships with stakeholders and business owners and acted as a brand guardian for the business to ensure executions were aligned to the overall brand strategy. I took an active role in creative leadership on all projects, from shaping the brief through to final delivery and its global execution.

I have an extensive experience working with visual applications across customer environments, I have a hands on and in-depth knowledge of all stages of a creative process. I am passionate about design, and strive to create the most effective and meaningful solutions, applying strategic thinking and visual craft to deliver goals.

Currently I am working as a creative brand adviser, and the past academic year I have been a visiting lecturer, running a series of studio workshops for Interior and Spatial Design at Chelsea College of Art, University of the Arts London.

ACHIEVEMENTS
With a creative, analytic and honest approach to design and branding, I have delivered projects with high visual impact, deeply rooted in the core of the brand. My projects have helped integrate Nokia back into the global design conversation, and have proved successful in increasing awareness and consumer engagement with the Windows Phone platform.

Twenty–Six Characters — A book in celebration of the Nokia Pure typeface. Clio award winning and featured on several influential blogs.
Emulator — Demo introducing Windows 8.1 / 10. Increased the time consumers spent getting familiar with the Windows Phone platform.
Product Display — Exhibition design, putting the product at heart. Transportable and flexible solution to display the Nokia / Microsoft phones’ portfolio at global design events and product launches.
